Today we’d like to introduce you to the share house near the ocean, Waraku-i Arch.

The WARAI Arch is

Spacious living room and event space
Arch has a spacious living room.
In 2022, the entire living room and kitchen floor will be completely redone,
The flooring in the living room and kitchen were completely remodeled with Japanese solid cedar flooring in 2022,

It is a spacious space of about 12 tatami mats.
It can be used freely for yoga, movie screenings, various workshops, etc,

If you are using the space for an event
If you want to invite non-arch residents for an event or workshop,
common service fee (daily necessities, toilet paper, residents’ association fee, etc.)
We will ask you to pay a fee for the use of the event space as a common service charge (fee to be discussed on a case-by-case basis).
(Fees are negotiated on a case-by-case basis.)
By sharing a part of the living space,
We are happy to share a part of the living space, so that both the place and money can circulate comfortably,
residents, as well as their friends and participants in the community.

The walls, ceiling, floor, and even the bathtub are all new!

5 minutes walk from JR Maiko Station and Sanyo Maiko Koen Station.

We’ve become good friends with our neighbors who live on the same staircase.
With neighbors of the same age, we have dinner at home together, watch movies, do yoga, go out, etc. It’s like being share mates.
We exchange what we can do for each other, such as replacing screens, moving large pieces of furniture, carrying luggage, and so on.
Sometimes, we even find matchmaking partners for our relatives.
At our annual summer stairway BBQ, we have a wide range of ages from 20s to 70s, along with stairway residents.
I imagine it would be interesting if eventually passersby and people from the next stairway would join us.

Within a 5-10 minute walk east of Maiko Station are,
- Former Kinoshita Residence:A Japanese-style building with modern architecture in the sukiya style. The garden is also beautiful.
- Former Yamaharu Muto Residence:Stylish Western-style building in Azure Maiko.
- Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall (Shijikaku):An important cultural property designated by the national government with an impressive hexagonal shape.
- Maiko Marine Promenade:The world’s longest suspension bridge (3911 meters long), 47 meters above the sea, the log bridge experience is thrilling and offers a spectacular 360-degree panoramic view! Highly recommended!

On the way to each spot, it is nice to walk on the lawn of Maiko Park while enjoying the view of the Akashi Straits and Awaji Island.

A five-minute walk east from Maiko Park leads to the sandy beach of Azure Maiko.
Throughout the year, many people come here to walk or run.
In summer, many families and couples gather here to enjoy swimming.
- Taihei no Yu
A super public bath where you can enjoy a superb view of the Akashi Strait and a bedrock bath. Taihei-no-yu. It is located about 5 minutes east of Azure Maiko.
- Marinpia Kobe (outlet mall)
An outlet mall with over 100 kinds of specialty stores (clothing, sporting goods, general merchandise, food, restaurants, cafes, etc.).
It is convenient for both relaxation and shopping.
