This time, we are introducing Garden, a share house within walking distance of Sanyo Kasumigaoka Station and JR Maiko Station. Garden is just a two-minute walk from a beach with a spectacular view, making it perfect for ocean lovers.

Garden is a female-only share house for up to four residents.
The rooms have plaster walls,solid Japanese cedar flooring in the Western-style rooms,Japanese-grown rush tatami in the Japanese-style rooms,
for insulation, double-glazed windows have been installed.
The living room includes a pellet stove (fireplace) and projector.

Room 101 (¥48,000: Asian-inspired room with a veranda leading to the garden, south- and west-facing windows, and generous storage)

 

With windows facing south and west, this is a bright and comfortable room. It also has ample storage and a veranda that provides direct access to the garden.

Room 201 (¥54,000: Sunlit east- and south-facing windows, private balcony, and extra-large storage)

With an extra-large closet, a spacious private balcony, and windows facing east and south, this is a roomy and practical room.

Room 202 (¥43,000: Great sunlight, south-facing window, extra-large storage and wardrobe)

With a south-facing window, this is a compact room with excellent sunlight. Across the hallway, it has an extra-large closet and wardrobe.

Room 203 (¥44,000: Corner room with south- and west-facing windows, spacious storage, and extensive facilities)

This comfortable corner room has windows facing south and west.It also features a spacious storage area.

Shared spaces

Garden’s living room has a pellet stove that keeps it warm in winter. The kitchen has two refrigerators and a gas oven.

Living room (10 tatami mats, pellet stove, sofa, kotatsu table, and projector)

Garden’s living room has an open design using natural materials. The solid Japanese cedar flooring gives it a warm, welcoming feel.

The living room has a projector so you can enjoy Amazon Prime movies and more at no extra charge.

pellet stove (fireplace)

pellet stove uses far-infrared heat to warm you from the inside out.
It is also convenient for boiling water, simmering dishes, and roasting sweet potatoes.

Kitchen (renovated in 2024; gas oven, three-burner stove, and two refrigerators)

The kitchen’s plumbing area was renovated in 2024, increasing both cooking and storage space.
The kitchen includes a gas oven and three-burner stove, along with two refrigerators.
With two refrigerators for four residents, there is plenty of space. Each refrigerator has personal storage areas and a shared section where anyone may help themselves.

Toilet and bathroom (renovated in 2020)

The bathroom with a bathtub was renovated in 2020.
The changing room was also renovated in 2025.

Garden for growing vegetables and flowers

We have grown radishes, cherry tomatoes, sweet potatoes, lemon balm, and more.
Every year, tulips planted by housemates brighten the entrance.
If you enjoy vegetable gardening or flowers, you are welcome to use this garden.

It was a share-house experience full of handmade warmth and humor.
