[Organic] 7-Minute Walk from JR & Sanyo Tarumi Stations, Kobe ◆ Life with Chickens and a Vegetable Garden

Hello.
I’m Inoji from Kobe Share House WARAI.

Today, I would like to introduce WARAI Organic, a share house that is conveniently located just a seven-minute walk from both JR Tarumi Station and Sanyo Tarumi Station, yet also offers the chance to enjoy vegetable gardening and raising chickens.
Our landlord family—Inoji, Miki, and our two daughters—also lives here. The house has a warm, home-like atmosphere, with plenty of interaction among residents and with people from the local community.
If you are looking for a life in Kobe surrounded by nature and warm connections with others, please take a look.

What Makes WARAI Organic Special

  • Living with the landlord family: Our family lives on the first floor, so help is always close at hand. The house has a warm, home-like atmosphere.
  • A life with homegrown food: We keep chickens in the spacious backyard, providing three to five fresh eggs every day. We are 100% self-sufficient in eggs! You can also enjoy seasonal fruit from our loquat, hassaku citrus, jujube, kumquat, and lemon trees.
  • Vegetable garden: Everyone grows vegetables together in the garden. Our “Coriander Festival,” held every 89 days, is a signature event!
  • Spacious shared areas: The living room and main kitchen offer a combined 20 tatami mats of space. Both also have underfloor heating.
  • Excellent facilities: There are four kitchens, so there is no need to worry when several people want to cook at the same time. The house has two bathing areas: one bathroom with a bathtub and one shower booth. All private rooms and shared areas have been renovated with double-glazed windows for better insulation.
  • Eco-friendly living: Solar thermal panels on the rooftop have reduced the gas bill to one-third of its previous level, making life here kinder to both the environment and your wallet.
  • Rooftop terrace: Enjoy yoga or a BBQ on the rooftop while taking in sweeping views of the Akashi Strait.
  • Convenient location: The house is a seven-minute walk from both JR Tarumi Station and Sanyo Tarumi Station. The lively shopping streets around the stations are home to many greengrocers and fishmongers, offering fresh ingredients at reasonable prices. With more than seven supermarkets nearby, grocery shopping is very convenient.
  • On-site parking: Five parking spaces are available on the property. Residents can rent one for ¥7,000 per month, and the spaces are also convenient when guests visit.
  • Shared car: Residents can use a shared car for short trips and errands.
  • Guest room: In addition to the residents’ rooms, there is a dedicated guest room that can be used for visiting family and friends, remote work, meetings, and more.
  • An active community: Around ten events are held each month, including activities exclusively for housemates and events that local residents can also enjoy, creating many opportunities to connect.
