“Living Here Is Surprisingly Easy”
When asked what has been difficult, Shiori says that nothing immediately comes to mind. After living alone at university and sharing a house overseas, she finds life at Organic remarkably easy.
When you live alone, every toilet, bath, meal, and leftover belongs to you alone. Sharing a home distributes both the work and the benefits of daily life.

Organic uses two types of cleaning. Toilets and bathrooms are cleaned once a week on a rotating schedule. There is also a regular cleaning hour when everyone chooses an area they want to improve.
During one session, Shiori reorganized the kitchen’s spices into a clearer arrangement. The other residents were delighted; a small improvement made the shared home easier for everyone.

Finding What She Truly Wanted
In her twenties, Shiori spent years searching for what she wanted to do. She gradually realized that she was not seeking a project to accomplish alone. What she wanted was to live a fulfilling life together with other people.

Community Does Not Need to Be Complicated
Going to the sea, enjoying cherry blossoms, playing cards, or simply talking can all be enough. At the time of the interview, a cabbage in the refrigerator needed to be used soon, so Shiori wanted to hold a gyoza party. Her ideal is to create these moments together without forcing anyone.
